Our Story
Our mission is to provide a strong voice for producers, address industry challenges, and create opportunities for growth and sustainability.
Who We Are
The Utah Food Producers Association (UFPA) was founded for and by Utah business owners, ensuring that our direction and decisions come directly from those who know the industry best. We are entirely governed by Utah’s food producers, processors, and stakeholders through our board of directors and membership. This structure guarantees that our mission stays true to the needs, challenges, and values of the people who make Utah’s food industry thrive.
Our Purpose
The Utah Food Producers Association (UFPA) is here to unite and support Utah’s food industry. We work to protect fair business practices, reduce unnecessary regulation, and create opportunities for both small and large producers to thrive. By bringing together food businesses, community leaders, and policymakers, we aim to strengthen Utah’s local economy, encourage innovation, and pave the way for future startups. At our core, we believe Utah’s food future should be guided by the people who live and work here, ensuring long-term growth, sustainability, and success for generations to come.

Built With Firm Utah Roots
The Utah Food Producers Association (UFPA) was founded in 2025 and is proudly based in central Utah, the heart of the state’s agricultural and business community. We began as a grassroots effort by local food producers who saw the need for a united voice to represent Utah’s growing and diverse food industry. Rooted in Utah values of hard work, independence, and community, UFPA brings together farmers, ranchers, processors, and food entrepreneurs to strengthen the state’s economy and ensure a prosperous future for all who contribute to it.
United, Informed, Connected.
We founded the Utah Food Producers Association (UFPA) to give Utah’s food businesses a united voice and a strong network. With growth, regulatory, and market challenges on the rise, we saw the need for producers to come together, not only to advocate for fair practices, but also to share knowledge, resources, and best practices that strengthen Utah’s food industry as a whole.
